Qualmark is a joint venture between Tourism New Zealand and the New Zealand Automobile Association.
Tourism New Zealand markets New Zealand to the world to attract visitors to our shores and the AA supports New Zealanders who want to see more of their country, especially by car.
Both organisations recognise that travellers must have a reliable way to assess the “quality” of their tourism experience and Qualmark meets that need for tourism businesses that apply to be independently assessed.
The operator’s endorsement or star grading is the official mark of quality for travellers throughout New Zealand. The Qualmark Enviro Awards also give an independent guide to travellers to recognise the business’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility.
