Real Estate Registration

AA was appointed in January 2010 as the sole provider of Identity Verification and Photo ID Services to the Real Estate Agents Authority (REAA). All of AA's Driver Licensing agents can process the REAA Photo ID card. With a network of 100 Driver Licensing agents throughout New Zealand there'll be one near you.

The Real Estate Agents Authority (REAA) was formed in 2009. The Authority is a Crown Entity, established under the Real Estate Agents Act 2008 to provide independent oversight of the Real Estate Industry, increase consumer protection and review industry standards.

Each year the REAA receives applications from the more than 17,000 professionals involved within the Real Estate Industry. Each application is vetted and successful applicants are then licensed to work in the industry for a further 12 month period.
