I've got a 13' boat & trailer that I need to sell. I'm looking for what I need to do to sell it legally, and ensure that the new owner does their bit. I've searched this site, and the NZTA site and not able to find anything about selling/buying. Only registration & WOF.

I'm assuming I have to do more than sell it and walk away.

Here is the NZTA selling information.
When selling anything privately it is important to sell as is where is and be careful how the item is advertised so if there is any trouble it can't be said that they were mislead into buying the boat/ trailer. The main note is that the wof has to be no more than 28 days old.
