I was struggling between the above cars that I want to buy. Both of them have low kms. 36000 and 40000 respectively. But Bluebird has CVT transmission while tiida latio has conventional 4 gear automatic transmission. I heard that CVT is highly likely to have problems. Could you please make a comparison with the two cars?

Hi there,
My pick of the two in this case would be the Tiida, the Bluebird has a reputation for a problematic transmission in this era.

And what about Nissan tiida latio with cvt transmission? Or Honda fit with CVT? Or I should avoid any CVT transmission?

Hi there,
The Tiida CVT has the same complaints, the Honda Fit has received lots of shuddering transmission complaints too.
However not all are bad, there are a huge amount on the road but we received the most queries about these two specifically. CVT's are improving, but are very reliant of how they are treated and the use of genuine fluids, and are very expensive to fix if they give issue.
