Need a 2ltre vehicle high enough for disabled person to get in and out of. Roomy boot for wheelchair which is not too high for me to lift chair into. Auto 4 door. Have 2008 Ford Focus at present but looking to update to another 2nd hand vehicle. Mostly short trips

Without knowing your budget or exact needs, I'm wondering if a small SUV type vehicle might suit your needs best. Something like Toyota RAV4, Mazda CX-5 etc springs to mind.
The other option which could be perfect if you don't want something as big as an SUV could be the Honda Jazz. Although it's not a 2.0 litre vehicle, it has a rear seat configuration that Honda calls "magic seat", which folds up to make room to load a wheelchair (or bicycle etc).

Thank you. Hoping to find something secondhand bout $20k. Need head height as well. Boot in our Ford Focus 2008 is quite roomy but as wheelchair is extra wide am short myself so finding it a bit high to lift into. Am woman driver with disabled passenger

Does the wheelchair not fold down? I was of the understanding they could fold, so don't always need an extra wide area to be stowed. If this is not the case, you're quite limited to vehicle types and perhaps a station wagon will be needed.
Some wagon suggestions might be mainstream models such as Toyota Corolla wagon or slightly bigger ones such as Toyota Avensis, Honda Accord etc.
The problem is that needing head room and a low loading area. There are plenty of vehicles that meet one or the other, but not many I can think of that do both.
The Honda Jazz I suggested before would be good if the wheelchair folds, as the storage area goes across the vehicle - accessed fron the rear doors as the back seat folds out of the way, giving more than enough height to stow the wheelchair.

Yep does fold down. Lifting up and into the boot is the hard bit as it's quite heavy. Thanks for your suggestions.
