Hi there,
Which would you reccomend out of the Mazda premacy 1.8 2001 , Mazda premacy 1.8 1999 with lower kms or Honda stream 1.7 2000? Any of those cars have any known issue I should be aware of, or are they fairly reliable? And are repairs very expensive on these models? Lastly, would buying an ex rental be a big no-no?
Many thanks...

With vehicles of this age, condition, mileage and service/maintenance history are more important than the actual year, so go for the low mileage rather than a vehcile that's a year or two newer.
Both of these vehicles models should be OK from a general service & maintenance cost perspective. The Mazda Premacy has a good reputation and the 1.7 litre Stream is fine too. Many 2.0 litre Honda Streams have a CVT transmission, so you'd be better off with the 1.7.
There's no real stigma associated with ex-rentals today as there used to be, so again, it's condition, mileage and service history that counts.
