Hi there,
Both cars are a good choice.
The Mazda is around 2k more expensive, resale on both will be very good as they are popular cars. The Honda is more sporty/performance being Euro spec.
Fuel economy seems to be the same between the two, around 9.1 Ltrs per 100k.
