Guys,

I am looking at a 2008 Mazda Atenza Jap import, which has been through VTNZ compliance inspection before coming on the yard. If I was planning to have the AA do a pre-purchase inspection, what additional checks would you do? Would it make sense to do the additional inspection? Cost for a non-member?

Hi there,
The AA pre-purchase inspection covers over 100 points, and will let you know the overall condition of the vehicle and alert you of any possible defects that may need addressing in the future. The inspector will be able to let you know about the engine and driveline condition/operatoin. And systems outside the wof inspection. Such as A/C operation, battery and charging system tests ect.
Well worth getting the car checked before you buy it.
$149 for a memeber $169 for a non-member.
