Hi, I'm looking at buying a Subaru Legacy (2003-2007ish) station wagon, but would prefer a non-turbocharged model, or failing that a 2.0 turbo (I will avoid the 3.0 6 cylinders entirely). Which models of Legacy are the ones I would be after?

Hi there,
All the models of this year bracket are pretty good.
These vehicles come in a few models. Turbo only come in 2ltr and are a great vehicle. Providing they are not modified and have a good service history.
The 3 ltr six cylinders are a great car too. The 2ltr non turbo may feel a little under powered but would have a better fuel economy than the 2.5.
Maybe make sure servicing has been carried out, and cambelt has been replaced. No oil leaks or noises from wheel bearings.
There is nothing else really that stands out to warn you of.

Hi Cade, thanks for your reply, but I was more meaning what model of Legacy is what engine size. E.g B4, B4-RSK, GT, 250S, B-Sport, Outback etc. As stated I would like to avoid the 3.0 6 cylinder Legacy models if possible, though I am seriously considering a 2.0 turbo model (if I can find one that hasn't been thrashed)
