Hi, I am looking to buy a toyota ist from a dealer. my budget is around $6500.
I have found one (1300 cc, 2004, 55000 km, non cvt) with fuel Consumption around 6.6 lit per 100 km (based on motorweb, $1850 per year, 4.5/6). I know that 1300 cc toyota ist normally has fuel Consumption around 6.1 lit per 100 km and 1500 cc around 6.8 lit/100 km. so is there any thing wrong with this car?
what is the reason for this difference? I have also seen some 1300, 2004 toyota ist with 6.3 or even 8 lit/ 100km).

since just i have today to buy this car, I need your help ASAP.
thanks in advance for your help.

Hi there,
Fuel consumption figures are always an estimate figure and don't reflect on real world
driving conditions. These are to be used as a guide only. Cvt's seem to have a better fuel consumption level compared to standard transmissions with the same engines.
The amount of difference you are mentioning is half a litre per 100kms which is only a difference of $1. So i wouldn't be too concerned.
