Hi - I'm looking to buy either a Toyota Wish or a Nissan Wingroad (or something similar) but can't find any information on which one would be the safest car. I've just had a baby so safety is the most important thing to us but we have to stick within our budget too. Any advice on which one might be safer from the year's listed?

Being Japanese import I can't find any safety ratings either.
I would consider the amount of air bags fitted, and safety items like abs, stablility control, traction control ect. My pick would be the larger engined 2005 1.8 Toyota Wish.
A side note, If you are looking at the Toyota Wish, the 1.8 engine with a standard Auto transmission is the better one over the 2 ltr with a cvt transmission.
Or stay away from the cvt transmission in the wingroad, they are available with both types.
