Hi team, I'm thinking of buying one of these seemingly very popular cars for economical commuting into and out of Wellington each day.
However the CVT gearbox is supposedly a cause of concern on these vehicles?
One vehicle which I'm looking at has a "shudder" when taking off, but apparently all thats needed to fix this is fresh oil and an additive. Should I flag on pursuing this vehicle?
I've only got a limited budget of $5-$6500, are there any other options I should be considering?

Hi Dylan,
These vehicles are great in every area, except the transmission has been prone to issue.
I have been told that it just needs a service and genuine fluid used to fix them.
So maybe you are right. In any case talk to Honda, or a transmission specialist on what they recommend.
