Hi, I'm looking at purchasing a 2012/2013 Dodge Journey. Can you tell me if the are any mechanical issues particular to these vehicles. Thanks

We have previously looked into these vehicles and were warned about the transmission, and possible issues they may have. So I recommend speaking to a transmission specialist before purchase to find further information on prevention or repairs.

Thanks for your response. Is the transmission issue specific to a certain year or is it to the Dodge Journey in general? I plan to get an AA inspection report done prior to purchase so if there was an issue with the transmission would that be picked up in that inspection?

I have also been looking at the Ford Territorys, are there any mechanical issues that you know of particular to these vehicles? and if so is it specific to any year?
