1990-2000 single cab, power steering. What is a good choice? What is a bad one?

You generally can't go wrong with a Toyota Hilux, Mitsubishi L200/Triton, Ford Courier or Mazda equivalent.
However, most of the Utes in this year range will have high km's and may require lots of work to maintain, so a thorough inspection before purchase is recommended.

Watching TradeMeI see that the Hilux is very popular while others just don't seem to attract any bids. I wouldn't buy without an AA vehicle check.
