Hi just wondering what you would recommend for a reliable first car for a teenager without spending a fortune?

Some popular smaller examples are Honda Jazz/Fit, Suzuki Swift, Mazda 2/ Demio, and Toyota Vitz/ Yaris. Also slightly larger cars like, Honda Civic, Mazda Axela or Mitsubishi Lancer. Generally these cars would be year 2002-2010.
