Hi there I'm currently looking into purchasing a Toyota vitz 2000 as I'm currently having too many issues with my current car. I was just wondering whether this type of car would be ideal for reliability and also cheap repairs if something does go wrong? And should I be concerned about the age of it?
Cheers

Hi there,
These cars are still a pretty reliable car, and there should be plenty of parts available should you need any. A vehicle of this age will be coming up due for some bigger service items over the next little while. Just something to keep in mind when buying older vehicles. I'm not aware of any inherent faults to warn of with these cars.

Sweet thank you. I've also looked at a Daihatsu storia 2004 but I've heard that parts can be difficult to come by is this true? Are there any other problems likely with a Daihatsu?

The Daihatsu would be a less known choice, and may also be harder for parts ( no longer any dealers in NZ). Not too familiar with regards to reliability, but they're not complex so I imagine not a lot to go wrong.
