Hello,

I'm looking at getting a Mazda Demio for my daughter. Just a couple of questions.

1) is there anything to be wary of with the auto?
2) it has 150km on the clock, are we looking at major maintenance costs in the future?
3) what would you think would be a reasonable price for a car of this year and km?

Any other info you could provide or issues would be appreciated.

I'm not aware of transmission issues, and think they are a good car option.
At 150k, you are in the middle period of just completed a large service, cam belt etc. at 100k and all due again at 200k. Si servicing should generally not be too much of an issue at this mileage. But it is at an age where poor servicing may cause some premature wear or problems to arise. So a good check into the service history (if possible) will benefit you.
I would expect this vehicle to be best available between $3-$4k.
