Hi
I have a 2003 Nissan March (import) done about 120,000 km.
It has recently developed a strange 'thrumming' noise when driving.
The noise increases in pitch and volume with speed, but not particularly linked to engine revs, and continues when coasting down hill in neutral.
So my assumption is that it is something to do with wheels, or the final stages of the drive chain.
I have looked under the car at wheels and drive chain and can't see anything obvious.
Any suggestions?

Hi there,
You may have a wheel bearing starting to show wear.
I recommend you take the vehicle to an Auto Centre near you to have it looked at before it gets worse and worst case leave you stranded. http://locations.aa.co.nz/aa-auto-service-repair
