I own a 2004 Nissan Presage with the QR25DE 2.5 litre 4 cylinder petrol engine. The handbook suggests using 0W-20 grade oil which I think is a synthetic oil. As I always change the oil & filter every 6 mths (approx 8,000kms), this seems a bit over the top to use such an expensive oil.
Would a mineral 10W-30 grade or a semi-synthetic like Magnatec 15W-40 be OK or specifically what grade should I use for this particular vehicle??

The 15W40 is the correct grade and a semi-synthetic oil will be a good option to use for this engine.
