Car starting to use coolant and mechanic recommended using Stop Leaks. Bought Autohaus Stop Leaks but instructions say to fit through radiator cap rather than expansion tank. Where is the radiator cap, or how to effect this addition.

Thanks in anticipation.

I wouldn't recommend a product such as this - especially as you say it's starting to use coolant without any indication of where it might be going. Often, these products can cause more problems as they can block the coolant flow. They're really only a stop gap measure if you can see where the leak is - but even in these instances, it's best to fix the leak.
I believe this model has a transmission cooler as part of the radiator and it's not uncommon on these systems for coolant to get into the transmission oil, which as you can appreciate, will not only cause cooling system and engine overheat problems, but will destroy the transmission too.
I think the first step is to definitely identify where the coolant is going.
In answer to your question about where to put the product in the absence of a radiator cap, the only place you can put it is in the expansion tank - but I can't stress enough, that I wouldn't do it.

Thank you, much appreciated.
