Unfortunately, blue smoke is an indication that the engine is burning oil, so is starting to wear out. Generally speaking, there are two different lots of circumstances causing blue smoke.
Smoking after the car has been idling is an indication of worn valve guides or valve stem seals. This is not so serious, although should be attended to.
Unfortunately, smoking when under load such as your car is doing is more likely to be worn piston rings, pistons or bores and the engine is quite badly worn.
