Hi
I have recently bought a Madza CX5 Black. I am thinking of getting the Dura seal teflon spray on the paint. is this a worth while exercise or is it a waste of money, does just washing it with turtle wash regular do just as well

These products are good - particularly on dark colours. However, if you're someone who takes pride in your car and waxes it regularly, the benefits are not so pronounced.
While they're not necessarily a waste of money, a good coat of wax, (properly applied) can protect the paintwork very well too.
Remember, these products are also an "upsell" product for the dealer to make more margin on, so don't let the dealer talk you into it unless you think you will get benefit from it.
If you travel a lot in dusty areas and don't get the chance to care for the paintwork regularly, the benefits are greater.

Thanks for that response, What wax do you suggest, and how often I have just been using the turtle wash. I did see in the manual that certain waxes are not to be used

Also at the moment the car is left outside all the time and we are in an area where there is a lot of pollen that gets on the car

Under these conditions, I believe a professionally applied product such as the one you're being offered would have benefits.

Thanks for the help
