I just wanted what sort of problem my car could be having. Its a 1994 Nissan Cefiro automatic. After driving a little while when we come to a stop at the lights or when we are idle the engine will just turn off, or when the car is in neutral and you press the gas pedal a bit it can also turn off kind of sounds like the engine is dying.

You don't say what type of car this is but without seeing the car and carrying out a proper diagnosis, it's very difficult to say and there are so many possibilities that any suggestions probably wouldn't be helpful as we could send you off in the wrong direction looking for the problem.
This really needs to be properly diagnosed by your mechanic.

I note you've now ammended your post to include the type of car, but unfortunately our original comments remain.
Basically, this could be a fuel delivery problem, an ignition problem, a sensor problem, an air leak or blockage, a mechanical issue of some sort, etc, etc. Hence, a proper diagnosis needs to be done.
