Hello AA Experts,

I am currently repairing a rusty Hilux for a WOF. I'm just looking for some advice on this issue, im not a panelbeater but i am a welder. The whole gutter along one side was rotten so i cut it all out and welded new sheet metal to replace it. Will it be up to scratch for a WOF, pics included. Any advice is muchly appreciated. Cheers

While it's a little difficult to say for sure by looking at pictures and the only way you'll know for sure is to present the vehicle for a WoF Inspection, ideally you should involve a panel beater with this repair. The reason being that it is very obvious that this vehicle has had repairs in this area, therefore a WoF Inspector is likely to request verification from a qualified panel beater that the repair has been carried out to recognised industry standards.
