Two recent for sale cars we have viewed on trademe have both had gearbox replacement done( tiptronic) Is this out of character for this car or should we avoid purchase of this model?

Hi there,
I have heard that these cars have had transmission issues. This would be evidence that
this proves true. Maybe a car to stay away from, or check thorughly before buying.
Maybe even call a transmission specialist and ask about the car in question.
