Am looking at an SUV (wanting a V8) price range of $15k max and as low mileage as possible (realistically don't expect to find anything under 150,000 kms). Any vehicle in this range will likely need expensive work done sooner rather than later - any thoughts on which of the VW Touareg, Jeep Grand Cherokee, BMW X5 would cost the least to repair and maintain? Would prefer a Japanese vehicle, but hard to find the equivalent in mileage and price - for the most part land cruisers are more expensive and tend to have almost double the mileage of equivalents in other makes, but would they ultimately cost less to repair and maintain? thank you
