Hi looking seriously at med/large sedan with good luggage space, passenger comfort for a part time taxi with uber will need to stand up to strict 6monthly cof checks
so needing some to suit for a least 2 years before i can replace

imports are cheaper to buy , but wondering if NZ new is a better option for extra cost plus , running is mainly auckland region ( not a huge mileage )
also whether to consider diesel or hybrid options for the fuel savings
very open minded re makes etc
will be paying the vehicle on finance so want to invest wisely, as my income is not high

many thanks Tony

Hi Tony,
If you look around at the current Taxi fleet, they seem to be Toyota Prius, Camry hybrids, or Holden Commodores. I prefer NZ new, but if you get a relatively common vehicle I see no problem with an import.
