Hi Guys , i have an Hyundai Getz 2007 its parked in a car port on a steep downward gradient , when my wife starts the car in the morning there is white smoke or vapour coming from the exhaust , this only happens when she gets in the car in the morning , i have tried to start the car at night with no problems with smoke or vapour from the exhaust , is this something we need to get checked out or maybe nothing to worry about , i would appreciate your advise , thanks.

Hi there,
This is pretty common with most vehicles, from my experience it is due to condensation build up in the exhaust overnight. Once the exhaust is hot and all the moisture is removed from the exhaust, you will no longer see it.
Because the exhaust is steel and attracts moisture when the temperature changes overnight. But if you are using coolant, having to top it up, or oil usage is high, then I recommend getting it checked out. Otherwise it would be nothing to worry about.
