I have the above vehicle from new, it used 1 litre of oil by 25,000 kms, then it had a service at 30,000 kms, since then it has used another 2 litres of oil and done 44,000 kms.
Would this be normal for this amount of kilometres, it is due for a service at 45,000 kms.

The dealer will have a specified maximum usage amount that the manufacture has set.
I think this is excessive, a modern vehicle should not need to be topped up with this much oil between services. I recommend checking that the oil used for service is the manufacture recommended oil for your vehicle, otherwise it could potentially use it.
