Hi guys,

For the past week my car has smelt like burning plastic after driving. What could this be?

3 weeks ago I had my resonator swapped for a piece of pipe and the muffler replaced (was cheaper than buying a new resonator, car worked great after). Could this have anything to do with it?

Hi there,
It is common for a new muffler to smell a bit as the insides condition with the exhaust heat,
it shouldn't last long. However if you are concerned, take it back to the repairer for a check over.
