I have 2002 primera. Yesterday we drove to auckland and back to hamilton. On the way to auckland it runs well no issues. When we travelled back i started to feel a strange thing happening it was difficult to increase speed on motorway. When i stepped ussually on the accelarator pedal it feels difficult to increase speed you need to step hard than ussual. Then when we arrived at a tradfic light it was on red so full stop but when the lights turn green I stepped as ussual to speed up but the car was moving very slow i have to step more to accelarate and release then step again. Then when we arrived home the check engine lights comes on. Can you tell me whats the problem with it and how much will it cost if it needs ti be repaired. Any idea, suggestions? Thanks a lot

Hi there,
I recommend you either drive or be transported to a workshop to obtain a diagnostic check and a correct diagnose of the problem. It could be a wide range of faults from engine misfire to transmission failure, and is not something that can be assessed without physically seeing the vehicle.

Hi i brought it to a service center they found out an error code P0335 which is faulty crankshaft position sensor and P1720 vehicle soeed sensor signal faulty. What do you recommend? Thanks

Hi there,
It sounds like you would need further investigation into the source of the faults, it may be just the two sensors have malfunctioned or it could be as a result of wiring, or component failure. The service centre should be making recommendations as to where to go from here.
