I have a 1996 honda civic hatch,automatic..that seems to be shuddering at times and it doesnt reverse untill you really press on the accelarator...i think it's due to the CVT transmission,..the car had a transmission fluid flush which kinda lessen the problem but it still happens... it's not affecting the driving so far but just wondrin what else i can do? will it fail eventually? looking forward for your reply,many thanks

This sounds like a fairly common problem with these transmissions, usually the specialists say that the correct fluid should be used along with an additive fixes the problem in most cases.
So I recommend checking with a Honda agent or transmission specialist in your area.
