Hi,

We are getting a trailer from the USA. We have found a 5 way to 7 way adaptor for the lights. Are american lights (turn and brake light functions integrated) acceptable for New Zealand as part of the WOF?

Yes it looks like it is ok,
Here is the wording from the NZTA wof regs with regards to indicators:
On trailers of American origin, the stop lamp and direction indicator lamp functions may be combined in one lamp.
