Hi there,
I recently bought a 2013 Mazda CX5 with a towbar. My boat trailer has LED lights, and when connected to the Mazda, the indicators flash too fast. My other trailer with old type bulbs has no such problem. What is the solution please?

Hi there,
As LED's don't have the current draw of conventional bulbs, you will need to go to an auto electrical to get a load resistor or something similar fitted. This will simulate the load used with conventional bulbs and correct the issue.

The Mazda dealer replaced the lighting module and the problem is now fixed. Although only 3.5 years old this module has been superceded about 5 times I am told.
