I have a 3 month old lead/calcium battery which I have had on charge, as recommended. The charger has alternative settings - Calcium or Lead. I have put it on charge for 5 hours but the charger's progress lights showed a nil movement. The battery was also quite silent (no bubbling). What advice can you give me please?

Hi there, I believe we spoke on the phone.
One of the differences between the settings is the charge control, with Gel being 14.1v, AGM 14.4v, WET 14.7v and Cal 16.1v. If the battery happens to be Calcium and the incorrect setting is selected, the battery will not be able to be 100% charged.
