Can you please advise rate for a vehicle I drive for charging my employer the vehicle is Mitsubishi Airtrek 4 wheel drive. Thanks

ABayliss

Any rate agreed upon between employers and employees is an individual negotiation between the parties, however they often use the AA calculations as a starting point.
Our rate for a 2.0 litre vehicle would be 65c per km and a 2.4 litre vehicle 80c per km. However, this is based on a 3 - 5 year old vehicle where depreciation is a significant component. On an older vehicle the rate will be much less - probably between 45c to 55c per km on a 10 year old vehicle for example.

Yes. This is the "all up" running cost, so includes fuel, oil, service, maintenance, tyres, wof, insurance, rego, depreciation etc, etc..
