Hi there, my colt plus 1460cc consumes 1 litre for 10km. I only drive in the city and sometimes climb up the hills. I think it costs too much. is it normal?

Hi there,
It is a little on the high side, you may need the car servicing looking at or the engine a good clean out. If you are doing round town driving you will use a lot more fuel than if you travelled on the open road. It may even need a longer trip to blow out the cobwebs every now and then.
For example your vehicle is listed as having a combined fuel economy of 5.6ltrs/100km, which would equate to maybe 8 max around town, when yours is using 10L/100km. It may not necessarily mean there is something wrong with your vehicle, its just round town driving makes the vehicle use more fuel.
