Good morning,

I am wanting some suggestions for a car suitable for a 79 year old woman who has discomfort and challenges around ingress and egress in her current vehicle.

Ideally the car would be 1.5 litres, automatic and more important seats that are much higher of the ground than a typical Japanese vehicle. The models I am thinking may be better are Mitsuibishi Colt, Honda HRV.

If I remember correctly the Toyota Yarris has quite high seats.

At this stage I am after a reasonable car model and then I will look at perhaps a leather or vinyl car seat that provides minimal resistance to the legs when entering and exiting the car.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Stephen,
Maybe also try the Honda Jazz, Mazda CX3, or New Suzuki Vitara. You might find that most later model cars will have height adjustable drivers seat to make entry and exit a bit easier.
It would be a case of narrowing down a few models that may suit the requirements.
