Hi, I recently bought a 2008 Dualis (a month ago) -- It started making a whining sound as i de accelerate. I took it to the car yard (Service Centre) - first time the sound kind of went away and it came back - So i took the car back. Today when i went to pick the car, the mechanic said, its one of the issues (even his wifes car has it).. Nothing much can be done. I paid $13K for this, and was wondering what options do i have and how do i address this?

Hi there,
Due to the type of transmission (CVT) this could be classed as an inherent feature of the vehicle unless identified as a fault.
You may need an independent 2nd opinion from a transmission specialist to determine
if it's in fact a fault to be remedied by the dealer.

Hi
Thank you so much. Any specialist you would recommend?

Hi there,
Auckland Automatics in Onehunga are pretty good, if you're in Auckland.
