I was reversing out of a driveway and I would say 3/4 of my car was still on the footpath and I was still reversing straight and hadn’t started turning the wheel at all yet when I reversed into another car which I didn’t see. This other car was reversing I’m not too sure what she was doing but she was reversing at an angle against incoming traffic on the wrong side of the road and we just both didn’t see each other. I’m just wondering who’s fault is it? Or would it be 50/50 since we were both reversing

Hi there,
Often in these cases if both vehicles were reversing, then insurance companies would rule split liability 50/50. As both vehicles have equal responsibility to ensure the way is clear at all time throughout the manoeuvre.
