Hi,

2 months ago I bought a Suzuki Swift from an Onehunga dealership. Since then I have noticed a few problems with the car. I took the car to my mechanic who found an alarming number of problems and actually said that he has no idea how my car got a warrant from vtnz with so many issues so bad. I know I have some sort of legal right to get the dealership to fix my car as it is within 3 months, however, they have been extremely difficult with me thus far. So, I am wanting to find out everything I need to know to take proper and effective action so that my car can be fixed ASAP. Thanks.

Hi there,
Vehicles purchased from a dealer are covered by the CGA (consumer guarantees act) which ensures the vehicle meets certain criteria for a short period after purchase.
If you do experience problems, you must speak to the dealer and give first right of remedy.
