Hi, We purchased a 2015 Holden Malibu from a registered dealership last month. On the eighth day of having the car, the main head gasket had blown. We then took the car back to the dealership to have it returned. They say that the return is not possible. They have offered to install a brand new engine into the vehicle. However the communication was poor on their part as they only followed up okce I emailed or called them. Would I still be able to reject the vehicle ?

Hi there,
Rejection is usually an option for a serious defect or one that is un-economical to repair and is usually an option discussed with the dealer.
The dealer has the choice to remedy and as they see fit, if they see it as repairable and are willing to do so, they would be seen to fulfil their obligations under the CGA.
