Hello!

I am very interested in importing a Nissan Pao (89,90, or 91) Into the country. I am wondering if you could provide me with advice in regards of what is needed to do so? From my understanding I would need to treat it as special interest vehicle which requires a bit more work than a usual car. would this be correct?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Because the car is over 20 years old, you won't need to import it under the Special Interest Vehicle rules. It will automatically be exempt from the emissions and frontal impact rules. Thanks for answering that question Mark. Would you recommend filling out the enquiry form if I am yet to buy the car? I don't plan on trying to purchase / import one till next year. However I do have more questions in regards to purchasing / importing.
