Hi, I'm going for my class 2 learner licence soon to learn to drive a bus, as I know an instructor. Will I need to get my P endorsement once I receive my full class 2 or before I start learning? I hear conflicting things, NZTA says I have to have my P endorsement for driving a bus regardless of whether the pax are paying or not, but the instructor says that he will be fine to teach me with just a class 2L. Help??

Hi there,
As we also understand the rule, you are not able to operate a PSV without a relevant "P" endorsement even though you may have a Type 2 license.
