About cam belts
Cam belt failure can result in costly repairs. To prevent this:
- Follow the manufacturer's advice on scheduled replacement
- As a guide, replace between 60,000-80,000km or every five years (whichever occurs first)
- Check with us to see if the cam belt should be replaced when you book your service
Our warranty
It's unlikely that a vehicle repaired or serviced at one of our outlets will develop a problem. But, just to be sure, you're covered by our AA Auto Service & Repair Warranty. This warranty:
- Is valid for up to 12 months or 20,000kms (whichever occurs first) from the service date
- Covers defective parts or service work undertaken
- Requires proof of purchase (we'll need to see your original receipt)
