Yes. Log in to your AA Smartfuel Account and select ‘Remove your card from your Group'. You can then select the card you want to remove from the dropdown menu (the cardholder name will be displayed below when selected) and select ‘UNLINK CARD’.
Primary cardholders can remove anyone from their group, however they will need to call us as the system is not allowing them to do it themselves yet.
Yes, once you have registered for an AA Smartfuel account with your primary card, you can attach additional cards which can all accumulate and redeem discounts, e.g. for convenience you may have your primary card in your wallet, and an additional AA Smartfuel card which you leave in your vehicle.
If you’re an AA Member, you will only receive any additional AA Member Smartfuel discounts when you use your AA Membership card. If you attach and swipe an AA Smartfuel card, this card will only accumulate standard AA Smartfuel discounts.
Log into your account and click 'Your AA Smartfuel Account' - if you haven't signed up yet you'll need to do that first. Select ‘Attach multiple cards to your account’.
Please note you can only do this for AA Smartfuel cards that have not been registered by another cardholder. When you're attaching a card, you'll need to enter the 16 digit number on your AA Smartfuel card and the 4 digit pin on the right hand side of the card under the magnetic strip.
These numbers refer to all the past AA Membership cards that have ever been issued. Normally, our members discard their old cards once they receive the replacement but occasionally we have members who prefer to keep these older cards in the vehicles, just in case.
If you find you have kept an older AA membership card, they are already automatically in the AA Smartfuel programme. If you have discarded the older cards, simply use the 'Deactivate your card/s' link on your MyAA Smartfuel account. This will allow you to manage which additional AA Membership cards you wish to remain active.
