"AATP" means AA Tourism Publishing Limited which owns and operates www.aa.co.nz/travel (“Website”). "You" refers to every individual or entity accessing the site for whatever reason.
Along with website content, AATP operates a non-exclusive online booking system to promote and sell tourism-related services (including accommodation, activities, attractions and events) through the www.aa.co.nz/travel website, AA Centres and operator websites. The booking system is provided by BookEasy Pty Limited ( ABN 6812274429 ) a third party service provider.
The site is for your personal use and is not to be used for any commercial purpose.
Most of the information on this site is provided by third party operators/suppliers. AATP have taken reasonable care to check that information is accurate and up-to-date, but do not guarantee that the site, or the server providing it, is free from viruses, errors and faults.
AATP accepts no responsibility for information supplied by third parties and, in particular, do not guarantee or warrant the accuracy of or the fitness for any particular purpose of, or merchantability of, any third party information, product or service available from, or referred to, on this site. AATP will not be liable for any damages or loss caused by the use of any information on this site.
AATP has the right to change any information on this site at any time and without notice. If you use the site after AATP has changed the terms you will be bound by the new terms.
You will pay any charges listed on the site for bookings made through the site. Charges will be payable immediately by charge to your credit card. We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Diners, American Express and China Union Pay) but reserve the right not to accept a particular credit card provider at our discretion.
When completing the online booking form you must be of legal age to do so and become legally bound to honour payment and other obligations.
You are also responsible for keeping other members of your party informed of the booking details. The booking is confirmed when an on-screen confirmation and an email booking confirmation have been sent to you (whether or not you receive it). If the booking is not confirmed, it means that the transaction has not been successfully completed.
The confirmation clearly states the product covered in the payment. You will be liable for additional charges incurred during your stay or use of product, which are payable directly to the supplier. You must check the product description at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that the booking will be suitable for your needs. Suppliers have different child policies and it is your responsibility to check restrictions, such as the child age range, and book appropriately.
AA Smartfuel discounts
Only participating operators/properties offer AA Smartfuel discounts. Participating properties are identified by an AA Smartfuel logo on their listing on aa.co.nz/travel.
AA Members and AA Smartfuel cardholders will receive a 10 cents per litre AA Smartfuel discount for every $100 spent on accommodation at participating properties, up to a maximum of $1.00 per litre, provided a valid AA Membership or AA Smartfuel number is entered at the time of booking. The minimum spend to receive these discounts is NZ$100.00.
AA Smartfuel discounts will not be issued in conjunction with any other discount or offer.
Bookings made with any AA Smartfuel property will receive the AA Smartfuel discount based on the date of check-in, not the date of booking.
The AA Smartfuel discount will be loaded onto your AA Membership or AA Smartfuel card three days ahead of the check-in date. If accommodation is booked less than three days ahead of check-in the AA Smartfuel discount will be loaded that night.
If accommodation is cancelled after the AA Smartfuel discount has been loaded, the value of the discount will be deducted from the amount refunded.
AA Smartfuel discounts expire at the end of the following calendar month they were earned e.g. if a customer earns an AA Smartfuel discount on 1 November, the discount will expire if they're not redeemed by 31 December.
If an AA Membership or AA Smartfuel number is not entered at time of booking, the discount will not be rewarded retrospectively.
Additional AA Smartfuel terms and conditions apply.
You agree to the Cancellation Policy as outlined by the supplier. To cancel or request a refund written notification should be sent to the Operator’s email address and to AATP at email@example.com.
Availability ("inventory") is set by the operator. AATP does not oversell that inventory, and AATP will not accept any liability for unavailability of inventory caused by the operator over-selling inventory.
The operator holds the right to cancel the confirmed & paid booking. In the event of an operator cancelling the booking a full refund will be processed back to the credit card of the customer.
Customers/Travellers are required to present booking confirmation, credit card and some form of identification (e.g. passport, driver's licence) at the time of check-in. Failure to provide these will result in the cancellation of booking and cancellation policy being invoked.
