Terms and Conditions
- Standard type vehicle must be 16 years of age, or less, and have travelled less than 225,000 kilometres
- European type vehicles must be 10 years of age, or less and have travelled less than 150,000 kilometres
- An AA Vehicle Inspection must be carried out before the policy is accepted / written
- Policy must be written within 14 days of the AA Vehicle Inspection
- An AA Vehicle Inspection is not required if the vehicle is being financed in full by the AA and is still on a motor vehicle traders yard or the vehicle has had a AA Appraisal
- Vehicle Inspections conducted by an organisation other than the AA will not be accepted
- Payment for AA Extended Warranty Insurance is required in full at the time of purchase
*Some items deemed to be in need of urgent attention or replacement may be excluded from the warranty - the policy may be written with these exclusions noted.
General exclusions
- Vehicles exceeding 3,500 kg gross vehicle weight
- Taxi, courier and goods delivery vehicles
- Unregistered vehicles
- Engines which exceed 8 cylinders
- Vehicles involved in motor racing or time trials
- Vehicles 16 years or older
