In the beautiful Cardrona Valley, Cardrona Retreat is a perfect place for all year round relaxation or activity holidays. Tastefully furnished and fully equipped; peaceful and quiet yet very central, we are just 35 minutes from Queenstown, 20 minutes from Wanaka.
We have 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All linen and bedding is supplied with the beds chosen for comfort and a great nights sleep. All beds have electric blankets.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, stove, full sized oven, dishwasher,crockery, cutlery and pots. There is a fold down table to use during meals which can be put away afterwards to maximise the living area.
Other facilities include Sky, an LCD screen TV, DVD, courtyard. There is a garage next to the house with parking for one car & ample additional off road parking. The garage has a washing machine and clothes dryer.
Cardrona Retreat is walking distance from Horse trekking & the Iconic Cardrona Pub, which is great for a few beers in the summer, mulled wine in the winter. It is also a very popular restaurant and apres ski location. Cardrona is a great walking & biking area and is a 2 minute drive to the Cardrona Adventure Park with quad bikes, buggies and monster trucks. There is a small shop which sells basic supplies and some wine/beer; about a two minute walk away.
All the activities of Wanaka and Queenstown a short drive away and these include golf, vineyards, fabulous restaurants/cafes and a huge range of adrenaline activities.
Cardrona Retreat is THE ideal location for winter sports as we are only 3km to Cardrona, Snow Farm & Snow Farm ski fields! The ski drying room is a great bonus, and there's a fantastic large open fire to relax and unwind after your activities.
Prices are based on up to six guests, extra guests have an additional charge of $25 per person per night. Prices range from $275-295 per night at off Peak times, the rate for the Ski Season/Public holidays is $350-400
