Whether you’re back on the road to your favourite café or store, or visiting the reopened ski fields, a cracked windscreen is one way to dampen your drive - fortunately, AA Auto Glass have now introduced their service to Queenstown.

AA Auto Glass Operations Manager Paul Collins says it’s an exciting new development for the business.

“AA Auto Glass was first established in 2010 as a joint business venture for vehicle glass repair and replacement services and since then, has gone from strength-to-strength. Just over 2 years ago, AA Auto Glass became a fully AA owned and operated business.

“Whether its chipped or cracked windscreens, side glass or rear screens, our Queenstown customers can be assured if they require glass repair or replacement that we are here to help.

“We are starting with one Auto Glass technician and sign-written van operating in the Queenstown and Frankton area. Our technician is a mobile resource for both glass fitment and ADAS camera recalibration and he is well-placed to spot potential glass problems and offer motorists the necessary assistance.”

AA Auto Glass has also seen successful growth over the years with rental car customers, now with agreements nationwide with most major rental car companies.

Paul says, “Behind Auckland and Christchurch, Queenstown is the third busiest location in New Zealand for rentals. Introducing the service here means we are more accessible to rental car customers taking holidays when possible in addition to Queenstown residents.”

Another first for the Queenstown-Lakes District, AA Motoring Services also opened its first AA Auto Centre in Wanaka earlier this year. AA Auto Centre Three Parks Wanaka is located at 4 McCormick Street.
